"La famille d’Abraham ": tableau

Les cinq personnages de mon dernier tableau une fois peints, il me fallait les installer dans un décors de plein air dont le propre était de devoir être grandiose selon l’idée que j’en avais. A cette fin il m’a été nécessaire d’en dissocier les éléments de composition lorsque je les ai brossés pour me concentrer mieux d’abord sur le ciel, puis progressivement sur les autres parties : les rochers du fond , la mer et la plage au premier plan. Voici le travail réalisé sur le ciel dont la caractéristique est d’être quasiment panoramique avec des nuages tantôt très détaillés, tantôt brossés pour donner une impression de densité, tantôt réalisés dans le souci d’une cohérence d’ensemble…

le rocher est, lui, peint avec de grand aplats conférant à la composition un quatrième plan plus où moins flou donnant à voir de la roche plus une impression qu’une performance plastique.

La mer réalisée quasiment sans modèle a été peinte par couches successives et juxtaposées en des nuances de bleu et de vert mêlés, rehaussé de jaune pour figurer les entrelacs de lumière du soleil se reflétant sur les flots.

Le sable du premier plan fut d’une exécution laborieuse et il me fallut après une première tentative , le recommencer tant la première fois mon sable criard défigurait l’ensemble de la composition qu’il déséquilibrait tant il était psychédélique pour ainsi dire. Le voici suivi du rendu final:

But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

  4. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues? A handful of my blog audience have complained about my site not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari. Do you have any solutions to help fix this problem?

I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform.
